The Card Services Implementation Specialist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of ATM card, debit card and/or ATM terminals with client institutions, including conversion, acquisition and denovo bank. Also responsible for coordination of ancillary products such as but not limited to Fraud Scoring, 3ds and VRU. Other responsibilities include second level problem determination for existing client institutions using logging and research tools available to Card Services, as well as acting as a liaison between DCI Card Customers and DCI's Card Services Department.

This positon is open to in-office, hybrid, or remote work, depending on the candidate's location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation Coordination

• Plan, coordinate, implement and conduct appropriate follow-up with client financial institutions concerning conversions, special projects and new services, which include ATM's, ATM cards, debit cards, and a wide variety of other card and electronic funds transfer (EFT) related products.
• Complete network contracts and paperwork for implementations and additional services.  
• Assists in the development, maintenance and documentation of implementation procedures.
• Assists in the development, maintenance and documentation of operational procedures for client institutions.
• Participates in the review and evaluation of procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency of card projects and conversion implementations.
• Responds to client institution’s questions/concerns in a timely manner.

Ongoing Support, Problem Resolution & Development

• Perform research and problem determination for second level card & ATM issues and work with Customer Support Representatives for follow up of these items with the client institutions. 
• Coordinate special requests between client institutions and the card vendor.
• Provides Card Services support to Customer Support staff and Implementation Group areas.
• Assists in the development and implementation of new card products as well as enhancements to the existing card and EFT system.
• Assists Development, Customer Support, and Operations staff with testing and production processing. 

Other

• Monitor and verify client expectations are met in terms of quality of service and accuracy. 
• Assist in marketing of InstaKEY services through visits and phone calls to current and potential customers as well as written proposals.
• Provide back up to functions and duties performed by the other Card Services staff members.
• Ensure that personal work area and other shared departmental work areas maintained in a neat and organized manner.

WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 
• Two plus years work experience in a customer contact role, preferably in EFT services and/or financial services
• Good understanding of on-line transactions, and ATM terminal operations. 
• Knowledge of ATM, card and financial institution settlements.
• Good understanding of financial data processing & financial institution operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience; MBA or Master of Science preferred.
• Seven to ten years’ work experience in banking, data processing, and customer services.

This includes designing, coding, testing, documenting, and debugging software using DCI’s software methodology and development standards. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficiency in writing/coding in relevant development languages, including but not limited to .NET Core, Signal R, Entity Framework, LINQ, LINQ Expressions, SQL Server, Vue, and React
• Relational database knowledge in Oracle and SQL Server, including the ability to manage indexes and write efficient SQL.
• Experience in developing modern RESTful API’s and writing software that can interface with RESTful API's
• General development experience working within Windows and Linux development environments.
